Held at the Newark Showground, on the A46 to Lincoln, NG24 2NY. This very traditional County Show has attractions for all, with Agriculture well represented through Livestock and Produce. Supported by Machinery Dealers and Vintage Tractor Clubs, this Show has something to appeal to everyone.

Sun 19 May 2019 The Clarborough Festival and Village Show, Nottinghamshire.

Held in the area of the Clarborough Village Hall, DN22 9LN,

 Clarborough Festival is the biggest event in the Village's year. Sunday dawns with a host of stalls and attractions spread over the village. The village field is full of stalls covering everything from local food and plant products through 'arts-and-crafts' to local wildlife and conservation. Add to that the usual hot-food and beer tent as well as local ice cream and fun rides and activities for children and you can see why the event draws folks from far and wide. 

Vintage Tractors, Stationary Engines and  other Vintage Exhibits are required, FoFH members welcome. There is also classic car section . A small tractor run is planned as well . For more details contact Dan: 07725 761187 .

Sun 07 July 2019 Michael Ducksbury Memorial Road Run, Nottinghamshire.

Road Run to raise funds for Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield, in memory of Michael Ducksbury.
2019 will be the fifteenth year that this has been held, starting from College Farm, Newcastle Street, Tuxford, NG22 0LN at 10.00am (arrive from 9.30am for registration). Sponsorship encouraged, with a minimum contribution of £15 per Tractor, which includes a "Ploughman's Lunch" at the 'half way stop'. Enjoyable well organised ride through Nottinghamshire countryside, fields, lanes and some public roads. Please ensure that you have the appropriate Insurance Cover. Plenty of off road parking for transporters. Raffle.

Southwell Ploughing Match is the largest  one day Agricultural Show in Nottinghamshire, established in 1855 and run by a committee comprising of local business people and rural enthusiasts. The annual show is held at a different venue every year with the 2019 Event to be held at the Thoresby Estate, near Ollerton in Nottinghamshire. This major event includes all the attractions and features of an Agricultural Show.

Start & finish at N & S Wheatley Village Hall, Sturton Rd, South Wheatley, Retford DN22 9DL                       

This Tractor Run, organised by Matt.Bennett, FoFH Member, is to raise funds for the upkeep of the Village Hall. Registration is from 8.30am and the run starts at 10am. The cost is £20 per tractor and this includes Bacon Butty and Hot Drinks at the start, with Jacket Potato with Chilli/Savoury Mince and a hot Crumble and Custard Pudding. Passenger Lunches are also available at £5.00. And very good the Food is !!! Booking is advised to ensure that your Meals are catered for.

The enjoyable journey is around 15 miles of North Nottinghamshire countryside returning to the Village Hall around 1pm.
Very well organised and in a worthwhile cause.
