T20 TVO, in good usuable condition, runs OK when last run but could do with some work on the electrics. Has original registration number but I have no documents. However I do have a copy of an archive entry from the council where it was registered. This with the engine and chassis number (both legible) should be enough for FOFH to assist in obtaining the original registration. Comes with an incomplete T20 (looks like a petrol but hard to tell) for spares. I have not had this running but the previous owner reckons he had got it going and it ran OK. My TEF20 has suddenly started to smoke like billio (dark grey) for two to three minutes after start up (starts very well). I am worried that water, getting into the combustion process, is causing this. Coolant system has anti-freeze in. I have a ’Sandwich’ Reduction box for a MF/FE-35/135 etc.... Does anybody have any information on these gearboxes? It’s an extra planetary reduction unit that bolts onto the end of the main gearbox, it has a shuttle selector lever on the right side. Unfortunately the makers badge is missing, but by the looks of the casting it’s probably made by MF. Does anyone know what it was used for & what it’s reduction ratio is?
